COURSES
Dry needling has become a core skill for modern health practitioners treating musculoskeletal pain and myofascial dysfunction.
Used across disciplines—including osteopathy, physiotherapy, chiropractic, general practice, and remedial massage—it provides a direct and effective approach to addressing muscular pain and movement restriction.
Our courses are designed for practitioners at every stage. Whether you’re early in your career or refining an established skillset, you’ll develop:
Precise palpation skills
A deeper, clinically relevant understanding of anatomy
Confidence in applying dry needling safely and effectively
The focus is practical. You’ll leave with techniques you can integrate immediately into your consultations to improve efficiency, expand your treatment options, and deliver better patient outcomes.

Why aprende?
Aprende means “to learn”.
Dr Kurt Avouris (Osteopath) is a highly experienced clinician and educator, with over 17 years in practice and a decade dedicated to teaching dry needling to health professionals.
As the Founder and Principal Osteopath of Toowoon Bay Osteopathy on the Central Coast of NSW, Kurt has built a respected multidisciplinary clinic focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
Kurt is passionate about developing practitioners. He has guided hundreds of clinicians from their first exposure to dry needling through to becoming confident, safe, and effective in clinical practice.
Aprende CPD was created to offer a more focused and supportive learning environment—away from the distractions of large, fast-paced city courses. The emphasis is on smaller group training, allowing for hands-on guidance, individual feedback, and a higher standard of skill development.
This isn’t a large, impersonal course.
At Aprende CPD, you’ll train in small groups with direct, hands-on guidance—so you don’t just understand dry needling, you leave confident applying it in real clinical scenarios.
Whether you’re starting out or refining your skills, you’ll gain:
Practical techniques you can use immediately
Sharper palpation and anatomical accuracy
The confidence to treat safely and effectively
“Our courses are designed to be practical, personalised, and paced to ensure every practitioner leaves confident in applying what they’ve learned.”
The long-term vision for Aprende CPD is to build not only high-quality in-person training, but a growing, trusted knowledge base for allied health professionals looking to continually refine their clinical skills.
If you’re serious about improving your results and elevating your standard of care, this is the next step.
